The international Forum named “GGF12” was held in Brussels on September 20-23 and NAREGI members made presentation of NAREGI-CA in the GGF working group meeting: CAOPs (CA Operations).
More than thirty researchers attended this meeting and we gave a lecture titled “New Open Source CA development as a Grid Research Platform” and distributed CD’s containing NAREGI-CA software. This lecture consisted of “Activities of NAREGI”, “Objects of NAREGI Authentication Service” and “Functions of NAREGI-CA”. Many researchers took interest in NAREGI-CA and joined discussions.
NAREGI-CA realizes higher level security operations than other CA in the Grid computing environment. We are planning to further improve it to make NAREGI-CA de-fact standard for Grid CA software.
