From November 15th to 21st, 2003, SC2003, the most authoritative conference in the field of high performance computing and networking, was held in Phoenix, Arizona, highlighting the most innovative developments, including Grid Computing.
Scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, system administrators and managers all got together to participate in the technical sessions and the exhibition, with the total attendance of about 7600.
NAREGI Project exhibited a booth in the Research Exhibit area, introducing the objectives of the project and R&D activities. Presentations were made by Dr. Miura, the project leader, and other key members of the project, together with some demonstrations. Although this is the first time that NAREGI project participate in this event, the booth was visited by many people, including prominent researchers in grid computing.
